Evaluation of the hydraulic relationship between the unconfined aquifers and the flow of the part of Red river running from Son Tay to Hung Yen is important to clean water safety and security for the daily life of local inhabitants living on the sides of the river.

After the Big Bang, Hydrogen accounted for about 74% of all matter in the universe. Therefore, the nuclear reactions which occur with the participation of Hydrogen always have an important position in the evolution of the universe. Among those reactions, proton radiative capture (p,γ) plays a prominent role in various astrophysics processes such as nuclear fusion reactions taking place in the evolution of stars, the classical novae, and type I X-ray bursts [1], etc.

In-core fuel management (ICFM), i.e. fuel loading pattern (LP) optimization, is an important task in designing a nuclear reactor core, and is performed after each fuel cycle for most nuclear reactors. Fuel loading pattern is an arrangement of the fuel assemblies in the reactor core.

Small modular reactors (SMRs) and floating nuclear power plants (FNPPs) are currently under research and development in many countries. These technologies have several advantages such as low initial investment, high safety, and flexibility in construction, operation and application. China is developing many SMR technologies for both land-based and sea-based, for instance, ACP100, ACPR50S, DHR400, HTR-PM, etc.

In recent years, Vietnam has experienced an increase in the use of radioactive sources, especially the applications of neutrons in industry, medicine and thus radiation protection monitoring has been of wide interest. Besides the main sources of neutrons detected in sealed radio-isotopic sources, nuclear reactors and neutron generators, neutrons are also encountered in high energy particle accelerator systems.
